POUFFE! is upcycled meditation & yoga gear made in Antwerp, Belgium. Discarded textiles such as high-grade cotton jeans, curtains and velvet pillow covers are carefully selected and turned into high quality buckwheat cushions, eye-pillows and yoga mat carriers. Aiming to re-use as much as possible, back-pockets are even repurposed into fun grips for the pouffe!

This labour-intensive process is rewarding. Slow fashion allows for unique and durable pieces led by the finds of the day.

From a very young age, you could spot founder Tine Mallentjer standing on her head, legs in a lotus twist. By the age of 20 she was hooked on yoga but also a party-loving city girl, with a love for fashion and textile design. She went on to combine her career as a cultural officer with a training in tailoring and pattern-making; refining her skills over the years.

POUFFE! is now her personal playground, where she mixes and matches garments, ideas, and different parts of her personality. Working with discarded textiles was the obvious choice.
